Le Grand lac
A Mediterranean adventure
This project is an ode to the Mediterranean sea. We made a documentary to dispel prejudices about the Mediterranean Sea, by taking two surfers from the Atlantic to discover this sea of a thousand facets. What made the trip so unusual was our athletes' means of transport, "THE COMMODORE HOSTEL", an old school bus.
This project was built in two stages:
// An aesthetic teaser, with the creation of cyanotypes based on photos taken during the trip. The blue of the cyanotypes immediately plunges the viewer into the mysterious world of the Big Blue.

// This was followed by the creation of the film "THE GREAT LAKE", retracing the journey of four athletes in search of the waves and wind of the Med. To put more emphasis on the means of transport, we decided to personify the bus, to give a more playful character to the film. Enhanced by a few animations, this documentary aims to reveal the beauty of the Med, while discovering the personalities of each rider. The viewer is carried away by breathtaking images and a team full of surprises.
